Can I keep track of my marketing inventory that is located in more than one location?
Of course! PrintStock will keep track of the inventory that is located in multiple locations. For example, you might keep some inventory at the corporate office and other inventory located at two, three or more printers. Printstock not only keeps track of the inventory at each location, but also allows your branch offices to order shipments regardless of where that item is stored. And the appropriate person is e-mailed with shipment requests.

How can I prevent over-shipment quantities?
PrintStock allows you to set both the maximum and minimum shipment levels. So, depending upon the access level of your users, you can control the quantities that are shipped. And make life easier for the warehouse by creating the minimum quantities so that they aren’t asked to break boxes.

Can PrintStock allow me to control who gets to order inventory?
PrintStock is configured with multiple levels of permission. You can set permission levels for individual users within those permission levels. Since PrintStock provides a record of usage, you can also determine who is ordering over a period of time.

  Who enters the inventory?
Generally the warehouse location enters those items under their control. For example, if you deal with one (or several) printer that keeps a stock of items for you, they would do an initial count of the items they keep stocked for you and enter those into the system. Any new items they print would be added as they go into their warehouse. If you keep items at the corporate location, then you would count and enter those items into the system.

  Who can order shipments?
PrintStock is designed to allow the "owner" of the inventory to determine who has permission to request a shipment. One person is designated the "Administrator". That person would add and edit the users on the system. The Administrator has the ability to add a user (or delete them) to the system and to set the level of access they are allowed.

Is there a limit on what I can inventory?
PrintStock is designed to make your task of communicating easier. There is no absolute limit on those items that can be tracked through the system; however, it is not designed as an MRP system. Rather, it is designed as a marketing materials communications tool. That is, anything that fits into the marketing/sales materials list would be very appropriate for the system. This includes brochures, letterhead, forms, ad specialty items and almost anything that is stored in one location but used elsewhere. Especially if the individuals who use those items are located remote from the warehouse.

Is there a limit on how much I can inventory?
There is no limit on the number of items you can place into the inventory list. In fact, PrintStock allows you to search your listing so that as it grows it never gets too large to find what you’re interested in. The basic plan for PrintStock allows you to connect your best client and three users for only $9.95 per month, per user.

Is there a limit to the number of employees or locations that can be put on the system?
There is no limit to the number of employees or locations that can be integrated into the system. PrintStock is designed as a communication tool and as such is most useful when all of the individuals who need access to and knowledge of the marketing materials are participating.

We have two warehouses with marketing materials as well as a printer. Can PrintStock handle that?
PrintStock is your marketing materials inventory communication tool and is designed specifically for multiple locations.

Do I need special software or Internet connection?
PrintStock is Internet-based. With a current browser (Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or later, Netscape Navigator 4.0 or later) you have all of the software that is required. The faster your Internet connection speed is, the easier it will be for you to enjoy the benefits of PrintStock; however, a 28.8 Kbps modem is adequate.

On occasion our e-mail and Internet connection goes down. What do we do then?
If e-mail failure is a constant problem for you, we recommend that you consider an alternative ISP. But to answer the real question, you always have the fallback position of using the telephone. Your printer or warehouse person can enter the order for you so that you don’t lose the information and tracking capability.

We use more than one printer. What if not all of them want to join PrintStock?
PrintStock was designed to make your job easier and to give you the ability to track and control your marketing materials inventory. We’re confident that once the printer understands the system, they will want to participate; however, if one doesn’t choose to participate, you can simply manage the inventory at that shop the old fashioned way.

Is it expensive to join PrintStock?
PrintStock is very inexpensive to use. And the value delivered for this low-cost communication tool is exceptional. For only $14.95 per month, per user, you can get connected with your warehouse or printer. Click here to get started today!

Sometimes even with careful planning we need to rush order something. Can PrintStock handle critical situations or do I need to revert to phone and fax?
PrintStock is perfect for critical situations! With phone and fax you still have no record of what happened and no tracking of the inventory, especially months later. Just use PrintStock, and the specifically designed "Need by" date field to alert your printing partner that it’s a rush order. And PrintStock keeps the record and tracks the inventory used and why it was needed. Now you have a record to check later when the crisis has passed.

Can we reorder materials that are depleted through PrintStock?
Yes! When the Administrator is setting up each inventory item, there is provision for automatically reordering when the inventory reaches a critical level or by a certain date. PrintStock sends a reorder e-mail to the printer. Or you may simply want PrintStock to alert you that the reorder level has been reached so that you can make a decision about reordering.

Is there a contractual time I am obligated to PrintStock? What if I’m not happy?
We’re confident that you’ll be thrilled with PrintStock that we’re offering the first month free! After that you are a member only as long as you want. Cancel at any time.
